News

Internet of ThingsThe Internet of Things: First off, thanks to everyone who came out to The Hangout on Saturday.  It was quite a fun time even though 2 of the 4 of us don’t really remember a whole lot from about the time we played onward.  I DO remember drinking from a trophy and hijacking the microphone a few too many times.  Oh, and thanks to everyone who was at Fest and was kind enough to watch us.  From what I heard Fest was quite a blast this year.

We have several shows coming up including Ian’s Party.  We’re playing a couple shows out of state in the middle of December too.  Check the shows calendar for the details.

Kris and Rachel are expecting a baby boy in March which is awesome.  Between now and March we’re hoping to write some new stuff and hopefully record it so Kris can focus his time on being a new dad.  Congrats to you both!

On to the news archives, I was able to find news that I/we posted going back to the VERY early days of our website thanks to a cool website called the Internet Archive Wayback Machine. This site is pretty cool but due to the way I designed our website between 2004 and 2006 I can’t get to the news we posted then.  AND the company we hosted with back then removed all our shit from their servers accidentally in 2006 and we lost everything.  Without the Internet Archive site everything from back then would be gone–it’s pretty cool.

So, if you have some time to kill at work feel free to go back in our news on this site and you’ll see archives going back to 2001.  Pretty nifty.

New WebsiteSo here is our brand new website.  It’s probably the fanciest one we’ve ever had and it’s easy for the non-nerdy dudes in this band to edit.  Anybody can register a user name which may make some of the shit in our site more functional but it’s definitely not required.  We’re still kinda new with the fancy part of the internet so if something doesn’t work unless you’re logged in it’s probably because we haven’t wrapped our brains around that yet.

Most of the shit from our old website is on here but it may just look different.  There may be a few kinks that we have left to work out but for the most part this shit be done.

Following our trend since we first created a website in 2001, here is the first new posting in almost a year. When they invent a way to update this with our minds, we’ll be set.  Until then, it’s going to be an Annual Update.

We’re currently working on a new full length record and it’s almost done. Expect it to be just as bad as everything else we’ve put out. No word yet on when it’s coming out but we’re hoping it will be this summer.

Don’t forget to JOIN OUR EMAIL LIST!

We just uploaded some new video and have a few more things to upload like some mp3s and other media/photos shit. We also have some shows coming up. Take a gander.

Till next time.

Happy New Year! 2008 is going to be the best year ever! We have some new pics up from a show at the Note in Chicago. Since our last news we have done a lot of shit but you’d be better off spending your time reading a good book than a novel about us. Ian’s Party was rad, New Years Eve was rad, and The Arrivals songs on the split that just came out are even radder than all of that. Now you’re up to date. Playing outside is way cooler than the internet. Bon Voyage.

We’re going to do a better job of updating our website, we swear. Here is some news. We have a new CD out called New Brains For Everyone. Check the merch page for info. We have a split 7″ with The Arrivals coming out in November. We’re going on tour in a week for The Fest 6 in Gainesville, Florida. You should go too. Eric’s wife had their baby and the rest of us still look more pregnant than she ever did. Their baby’s name is Jack. Party on.

This is our website. We’re a punk rock band. We have a new CD coming out soon. As you can tell by the lapse between the last news post (which was done by our friend Hank) we don’t post news very often. We’ll work on that. Come say hi to us at a show. We like personal interaction better than digital interaction.

Welcome to the new website. We have one show coming up at the Ewl house in Wonder Lake, IL. The site shouldnt be to slow in the making and will have lots of video and other random shit for you to waste your time while at work.

All apologies to anyone who went to WARP on Saturday thinking we were playing. It was one of those mishaps where someone booked us without informing us. We would have gladly played! Also, we apologize that yesterday did not go as planned. We were really looking forward to playing but circumstances just wouldn\’t let it happen. It was quite the coincidence, just as I was getting directions online to Joe\’s house, he instant messaged me letting me know the show was off. Sucky. Oh well, he will be having another show in Spring so we will definitly be down for that. We are looking foward to the shows on October 26th as well! If you need directions to the show(s), drop us a line. Jon and Daka Feelgood will post some news very soon. Peace. Love Grozz.
